From Something Old to Something New
Isn’t it strange how when one thing in your life changes, it prompts you to take a look at other things? That’s what happened when I decided to change directions (or more specifically, locations) with my wedding photography business.
Moving Up North
This year, after 9 years working as a wedding photographer in London and the South, I decided it was time to take a leap of faith to move my business up north and closer to my home near Manchester. Up until then, I’d been travelling to London (where I’m originally from). Thankfully, the gamble paid off and I’ve had the privilege of shooting some absolutely stunning weddings all over the region - from Cheshire to Cheadle, Heald Green, Wilmslow, Knutsford, Macclesfield, Stockport, Bolton, Alderley Edge, Leeds, Liverpool and Yorkshire.I still take on a limited number of weddings in the South but I’m pleased to say that, in general, my commutes to and from ‘the office’ have got a lot more manageable!
Deciding To Rebrand
Once this began to change, I realised (thanks to a little help from my friends) that it was time for my brand to change direction too. I wanted to refresh the look of my brand and relaunch my website to help establish my work to a new audience, whilst also getting across my timeless style of photography, my attention to detail and, above all, my passion for the work that I do. My greatest thanks to my brand stylist, Angela at Saffron Avenue. She is one amazing #girlboss. She took my likes, loves, and ihearts and turned them into magic, giving me the strong yet feminine, chic and romantic I was yearning for, in soft peonies and jades. Thank you :) And I’m so pleased with the result! I hope you like it too. x
