A Romantic Wedding in Toronto
I was honoured when Raheel and Fatema asked me to photograph their 4 day wedding.. all the way in Canada!
I arrived at Raheel's hotel room to find the groomsmen asleep and Raheel ironing his shirt.. it kind of sums up the relationship the boys had (clearly still in stag night mode since they arrived back from Miami having missed their flight...a story for another day!)
Raheel was super composed, yet silent and thoughtful. He looked super suave in his Hugo Boss suit and Steve Madden shoes and slick back hair.
In the meantime Fatema was having her hair and makeup done by the lovely Shobana. Fatema had chosen a soft ivory dress with diamante work on the bodice with a matching veil, she looked stunning.
The couple made their way to the mosque in Thornhill for their religious ceremony, then we headed out to Scarborough Bluffs to the east coast of Toronto . The Bluffs is a breathtaking location and was perfect for this young couple The clear blue waters and serene atmosphere... if I stared for long enough I could have imagined being in the Bahamas haha!!
We had a few minutes of daylight to capture their portraits, complete naturals, and we even managed to get the groomsmen in for a little fun.
