Hasseena and Noor’s Pakistani Wedding at Devonshire Wedding
A cold wet foggy day in Buxton, turned out to be one of the brightest, warmest days of my year as a photographer, because the bride, was an absolute star.
Despite bad news, and elements of the wedding and her dress not going the way she wanted, Hasseena stayed her bubbly self.
We started the day shooting portraits near the gorgeous Devonshire Dome in the morning fog before making our way indoors.
Hasseena and Noor made me laugh the whole way through the wedding. Right from Hasseena giving Noor a nickname Mr Grumpy (he’s really not!), to holding the guests back so they could get dessert and Krispy Kreme doughnuts alone haha!!
The night ended with Sahara, a leading UK bhangra band heading up the dancefloor. The acoustics at Devonshire Dome are fascinating, add in a dhol, a DJ, and a band, and I can’t even describe the atmosphere of the dancefloor.
Hasseena left the venue in a traditional Pakistani ‘rukhsati’ ceremony, with mixed emotions from her family. Hasseena, thank you for being such a chilled out bride, I loved working with you.
Devonshire Dome is a gorgeous wedding venue and provides a stunning backdrop for wedding photography.
